Mikey's Mission Statement

The Mikey Network is working to create public awareness and provide education about heart healthy lifestyles. Currently we are committed to placing "MIKEYS" (public access defibrillators) in as many high-risk locations as possible so people affected by sudden cardiac arrest might have a second chance at life. Through The Mikey Network, the beat goes on.

Heathwood Mikey Walking Club

Keeping your heart healthy takes action on your part – and the great news is that it can be easy and fun, even in the middle of a workday.

At Heathwood Homes, we’ve started our own Mikey Walking Club as part of a heart-smart lifestyle. Many of our members have their own fundraising pages, and as you can see, we are doing well. It’s amazing what a brisk walk, two or three times per week can accomplish for yourself...and for The Mikey Network.
